{Semi} Wordless Wednesday: Pinterest IRL

Happy Hump Day, folks! How has everyone's week been? Mine has been fairly uneventful, but that's probably going to change today, seeing as how my niece, Princess A, will be here later this afternoon. She always knows how to shake things up!

S'mores Brownies, y'all.

Now, let me start of by confessing that the picture above is not mine. It's from the original blog that I pinned the recipe from. I originally pinned it from Karly over at Buns In My Oven and you can find my pin here. Ok, now on to the yummy goodness!

For the graham cracker crust you'll need:

1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
6 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon of white sugar

Combine crumbs, butter, and sugar, and press into a foil lined, greased 9x13 pan.

Next, I mix the brownie mix. You can choose to make brownies from scratch, but, if you're like me, you really need to get back to the Real Housewives of New Jersey marathon, whip the shiz up straight out of the box!


The fudgier, the better.

Step one: mix it
Step two: stick finger in mixture and taste it. This is a *very* important step.
Step three: pour onto graham cracker crust


Bake as directed on box.

Now, after this you have a few different options. You can use large marshmallows or small marshmallows. If you use the large (like I do) you can either cut them in half or leave them whole. I cut mine in half. I also put them in a pot and melt them a bit. Makes them a bit stickier.

Ok, once your brownies are done, take them out, and layer the marshmallows on top.


Turn on your broiler, position the rack on the highest slot, and pop those bad boys in. Now, I've made these twice already, and let me warn you, you've got to watch them, otherwise your marshmallows will burn very quickly. We like ours almost burnt, so the first time I made these, I let them go for way to long and almost caught my oven on fire.

I should also say that I doubt your's will turn out as pretty as Karly's. Mine haven't.


But ohmygah, were they good!


So, there ya have it. I made a huge mess, and they aren't very good looking, but they're heavenly!
