Happy Tuesday, lovelies! I had this post scheduled for earlier today, but Blogger decided to delete it, so I'm having to start all over.
 

Today, I'm enlisting your help. I'm going to finish my Christmas shopping this weekend, and seeing as how I've bought absolutely nothing for The Hubs, I should probably get on that.

Now, his style is more along the lines of Casual Chic. Which means he normally wears polo shirts and jeans, which I'm cool with, but I'm thinking he needs more than just striped Ralph Lauren pull-overs, ya know? He needs more swagger, but not too much. Think a casual Jake Gyllenhaal. (See, I told you yesterday that these posts were related!)

So, what am I missing? Will my man be perfectly stylish in these, or am I waaaay off base? Help me!!! Please?

Five years ago, on a hot June morning, I married my best friend. Five years ago today.

 

In five short years we've experienced so many things. We've moved around like nomads, traveled as much as we could, fought like cats and dogs, loved harder with every day, cried many tears and laughed so much our bellies hurt. We've lost loved ones and gained a beautiful daughter. We've built a wonderful life together.

 

There were some people who said we wouldn't last. I was all of 20 years old, and we hadn't even been together a full year. But we knew we were meant to be together. I remember that morning as though it was yesterday. I remember the butterflies in my stomach, and I remember the tears of joy that ran down my cheeks. I remember looking into my husband's eyes at the end of the ceremony and seeing nothing but love looking back at me.

He's been a wonderful husband. He's cared for me when I've been sick, he's held me when I've been sad, and he's busted his back to give us a good life. Not to mention, he's the best father in the world. Our little girl simply adores her daddy.

There isn't anything I'd change about the last five years. I love my life that I've made with the man I married 5 years ago.

i know i said i was only going to post my daily truth, but then? i saw this. and this? made me drool. see for yourself:

that's twilight's cam gigandet and his daughter. apparently this was a while back, and as always, i'm late to the game, but i figure, it's never too late to swoon over a hottie.

anyvajazzle, the reason this is so hot is he's wearing his absolutely precious daughter. i've never, ever, ever, never seen a man wear their child, in fact, i don't know many women that do. most men i know think this isn't "manly" enough. pfft, whatevs. this makes cam a very hot dad in my eyes. i mean, he's hot on his own, but add an adorable little girl in a sling, and you've got yourself a bona fide stud. roawr. need further proof?

you can't deny it, hot dudes are even hotter when they're good dads. lawd have mercy.
